For refugee travel document and certificate of identity
Call 1-888-242-2100

Outside Canada
Report the theft to the nearest Government of Canada office abroad.

Replacing a stolen passport

Checklist on what you need to get a replacement passport:

• a completed application form, signed by your guarantor:
• two identical passport photos, one of which is signed by the guarantor
• an accepted proof of Canadian citizenship
• a document to prove your identity
• the appropriate fees (passport fee and replacement fee)
• a complete Declaration concerning stolen passport
